I find it fascinating when we enter an abandoned home that still has furnishings and belongings left behind. This particular home is still intact so it was fine for walking thru except the basement which was flooded.

I looked for clues of a possible story of the people who left the home. Maybe something with dates to show approximately when they were last in the home. 

I look for belongings like toys or possible pictures to see if it may have been a family that once resided in the home.

Sometimes there is enough clues to put together a story. Neighbors may even offer up some information as to who the people were, why they left everything behind or sometimes a story or two.
